mous carbine has been adapted to full
automatic as well as semiautomatic fire.
Either type of operation is selected by the
user by moving a lever above the new
curved magazine. Automatic fireisata cyclic
rate of 750 rounds per minute—so fast that
the last of the 30 shots is fired before the
first empty shell hits the ground. Note the
short trench-knife bayonet.
