Hot-Air Unit Warms Up Bomber's Engines

Item

To conserve gasoline and oil that would be consumed in avarming up the engines of a bombing plane before the take-off, the Germans have been using a portable heater. This unit delivers hot air through flexible ducts to the engines. The saving in aviation fuel and lubricating oil is considerable, especially during the cold winter weather.
