"Fire Swatter" Helps Save Crops In Air Raids on Britain

Item

Guarding Britain’s fields in harvest time against fires started by air raiders is the duty of every person in the harvest areas. The most effective extinguisher used for the crop fires is a beater resembling a tennis racket mounted on a long handle. Large supplies of these, along with other fire fighting equipment, are distributed about farms, ready for smgthering flames caused by incendiary bombs.
