Target Gun Shoots Light Beam Instead of Bullets

Item

Air gunners practice marksmanship at training quarters in England with the aid of a small spotlight attached to the gun which fires a beam of light instead of bullets. The target is the silhouette of a plane projected on a screen by an instructor. Pilots are given this training just before they are assigned to active squadrons.
