Portable 1,000-Watt Generator Lights Fireman's Spotlight

Item

Firemen fighting night fires are aided by a portable lighting plant carried at the side of a Dodge truck placed in service recently in California. It includes a 1,000-watt generator, complétely portable, run by a gasoline engine. A 500-watt spotlight, plugged into the generator, can be operated from the point of best advantage for fighting a fire. It is expected to be of special value in combatting fires caused by sabotage and air raids.
