Perhaps barking dogs don't bite, but the bark on the big Canadian codst guns is just camouflage. They have plenty of bite. These long-barreled guns, pointing out into the Pacific, are being covered with strips of bark instead of the usual mot- tled camouflage paint, on the theory that they will resemble fallen logs to enemy aerial observers.
