Collapsible Rubber Assault Boat Withstands Rough Usage

Item

Constructed largely of rubber, collapsible assault boats being made at the Goodyear_factory, Akron, O., for the United States military forces can be deflated and folded into bundles for storage or transportation. Yet they are rugged enough for hard service when inflated for amphibious' action by the army or marines. Extremely light for the loads they can carry, the rubber craft can hold 10 men comfortably, may be used for ferrying supplies or may serve as pontoons.
