This is a three layers cockade, made through fabric folded and stitched into a circle, with a little white fabric disc as hidden back support . Each layer is colored as one of the color of the Italian flag (green, white, red). Since it is almost impossible to make invisible the holding stitches in the middle, a white glass button has been set by the creator, to neat the centers up.
