stead of on separate pontons, this Claude
Dornier-designed seaplane does away with
the defects of conventional floats. An inte-
gral part of the wing, the elbows do not in-
crease air resistance. They have no struts to
carry away under stress, and they prevent
heavy and sometimes dangerous rocking.
