To show the future mechanics of the U. S. army air corps what makes a bomber's landing gear “tick,” a full-sized hydraulic gear has been installed in the ground school at Glendale, Calif. Mounted on a Special framework which permits it to operate as if on a plane, the mechanisiy can be studied. Toward the close of the course, it is dismantled and, reassembled by students.
