Part of Busy Little Men Do Big Job in Close Quarters
Men of small stature are filling important places in the task of speeding the production of warplanes at the Brewster Aeronautical corporation’s plaft in Newark, N.J. Capable of crawling about in cramped spaces, where normal-sized men cannot enter without great difficulty, these little fellows, less than five feet tall, work freely and efficiently within airplane wings at such jobs as backing up the rivets hammered from the outside by full-sized men, as well as other interior work that must be completed after the wing structure has been assembled.
