Item

Tracer bullets, which leave a luminous trail from the muzzle to their mark, were used in a sub-machine gun when a G-man demonstrated its accuracy before police at a west coast city. A photograph taken in a fraction of a second with flash-bulb lighting clearly revealed the tracks of eight bullets streaking toward the target, all striking the figure in the chest and stomach.
